Meet Our Team
Keg
Keg started out his life abandoned, with his siblings, near Bend Oregon. Luckily the young Keg found his way to www.streetdoghero.org where he found his forever home with Jules! Keg is a cattle dog/Pitbull mix who loves all dogs small or large! Jules told Keg from the beginning, that he would have his own Doggie Daycare someday! Dreams do come true
Penny Lane
My mom Beth, rescued me in 2015 from the Oregon Dog Rescue. I was a street dog in California. I have 8 different breeds in me, but I'm mostly American Staffordshire Terrier mixed with poodle and Chihuahua. When I'm not busy running Bark Avenue I like long snuggle and belly rub sessions, exploring the outdoors with my mom, long runs on the beach and eating! My favorite words are cookie, daddy and potty.
cody
I'm definitely the boss everywhere I go. In my 6 years of life, my human has shown me all the ropes and taught me how to make important decisions, like when to have dinner or whose lap I'll be napping on. I don't take no for an answer, so you'd better just welcome me into your lap, or we might have problems! I love to fetch, and luckily the humans at Bark Avenue are super fun to play with. I will do just about anything for a good treat, but I'm a little impatient so you'd better be quick about it. Love is very important so i give it out to everyone I meet!
Fiona
I'm a little Chihuahua poodle cross from Texas with a heart of gold and the tiniest toes you have ever seen! I came to live with my parent, Sunshine, in Southern California when I was about a year old and we've been best friends ever since. I enjoy cuddles and love every single person I have ever met! I would absolutely love to meet you too.
VALERIE
I'm a rescue mutt from rural Texas, probably born around 2018, but i'm not very good at keeping track of time. I'm mostly Border Collie so I LOVE to fetch ball, but I have lots of other breeds in my lineage too. I really like to make sure everyone is safe from squirrels and when I'm at home I take that duty very seriously. When i'm not fetching or patrolling for squirrels, I love going on hikes and outdoor adventures with my family. If you throw me a tennis ball, we'll be best friends for life.
Sophie
In loving memory of our beautiful 16 year old Sophie who sadly passed away this year. She was 90% Lhasa Apso but got her smaller size from a little amount of Shih Tzu and Pekenese. She lived a wonderful full life and in her senior years loved eating, snuggling, bossing around the cat and following her sister Penny Lane everywhere. Sophie was always found fast asleep in a cosy bed in our Bark Avenue grooming salon or office. We all miss you little girl
Sophie
I was raised with cats, but I'm getting much better at socializing with other dogs now that I'm 3 years old and hang out at Bark Avenue. I don't really understand howling, but I love to talk and warn everyone of the weird noises I hear outside.
The beach is my happy place- I LOVE chasing seagulls and rubbing my face in the sand! My mom is my best friend, so it is very important to me that I always give her hugs when she comes back from an outing without me and enjoy smooshing my face on hers.
Maddox
I'm a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and my parents' first non-rescue dog. I was born in 2020 and my mom says I have a lot of personality. I am a very spunky boy! i do enjoy seeing if I can get away with things that get me in trouble. I love going on adventures, especially out in the snow. I also love to wrestle with my sister and friends. I adore going to the beach and will never miss a Corgi Beach Day!
